Defining a Value Type

A value series may be defined as numeric (1) or not numeric (0). This selection is made in the row Is Numeric via a drop-down menu in the chosen value series.

Choose Numeric if you wish to record:

• Whole numbers
• Decimal numbers

Choose not numeric if you wish to record:

• Text
• Dates
• Links
